About me
I have been involved in the print and graphic design industry for over twenty five years. I began my career working on offset litho printing presses and have gained extensive knowledge in all aspects of print, large format print, pre-press and web design. Over the past few years I have been working on projects, producing websites, videos and marketing products such as brochures, folders, posters and business stationery.
I have extensive knowledge in: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Premiere Pro and can hand code in HTML and CSS using Mac OS.
I also have knowledge of Wordpress, WooCommerce and SEO.
I am enthusiastic about all aspects of graphics, print, video editing and web design and am looking to further my career.
Employment History
New Image Print and Design, Shaw Road, Oldham (1987-1994)
Job involved pre-press work, dark room and film planning. Working on SRA3 and SRA2 multicolour presses, gaining knowledge in pagination, quality control, and bookmaking.
Paragon Print and Marketing, Greg Street, Reddish, Stockport (1994-2022)
Working in all aspects of graphic design, pre-press and print. Using Adobe Creative Suite, imposition, and RIP software programs. Checking PDF files for final print, liaising with suppliers/clients, working on large projects to end product. Involved in projects producing responsive websites and marketing material such as, videos, brochures, stationery, large format posters, including banners and exhibition work.
EC Creative Services, Vere Street, Media City, Salford (March 2022-June 2023)
Print Manager position, maintaining various company websites, uploading new products using the Opencart CMS platform. Setting up a Stripe account to enable online payments with a credit card, and producing and scheduling Mailchimp campaigns. Overseeing the running and maintaining large format printers and vinyl cutters, to produce graphics for print, vehicles and TV set production. During my time at EC Creative, I worked on numerous television promotions, including Blue Peter, Countdown, Soccer Aid Live and People's Postcode Lottery.
Print Search (Hague Group) Manchester, Westinghouse Road, Trafford Park, Manchester (June 2023-date)
Print Supervisor position, running a print and design department consisting of Heidelberg litho and Konica Minolta digital presses.
We also have a wide format print department, running a Swiss Q flatbed printer and a Kongsberg Esko cutting table. My daily duties include overseeing all aspects of pre-press, exhibition work and print, ordering stock, scheduling jobs and despatching the finished jobs on time.

Adobe Flash Actionscript: Mancat College, Openshaw Manchester.
